APULICA / Irpinia
In inland Campania, a journey can follow one theme at a time: wine, town history, seasonal food or mountain landscapes. Irpinia invites visitors to stop and understand the context of what they taste, devoting each day to a small number of places.

The Campania region lists Taurasi, Fiano di Avellino and Greco di Tufo among its DOCG wines. These names offer different approaches to Irpinia, inviting exploration of the relationship between a wine designation and its territory beyond the individual bottle.
A wine-focused day need not repeat itself the following morning. Alternating a town, a cultural visit and a walk changes the rhythm and leaves room for food. Season can guide the choice: begin with what is worth exploring rather than collect stops and tastings.
